(--TARGET--) Are you learning a foreign language or preparing for any kind of test? If so, you must have experienced it - some items are easy to recall, and other ones are very difficult to retain.
Now, does it really make sense reviewing the *whole* stuff from start to end, again and again? (--LEARNING MODE--) VTrain helps you learn faster by scheduling spaced repetitions. It tests you by way of questions (flashcards), and sets aside the ones you already know.
This way, you will review each flashcard only exactly as often as it is required by its difficulty. Moreover, VTrain lets you know exactly which flashcards you have to review every day.
(--EDITION MODE--) VTrain supplies vocabulary files for more than 40 languages from its website, but you can also create your own flashcard files with its integrated editor.
The OLE-enabled editor allows you to record your own voice and edit images right in VTrain. Its foreign language support includes a smart keyboard layout switch for two languages and editable Character Maps.
(--EXTRAS--) More features: statistical logs of your training sessions, a flashing (slideshow) mode which is also suitable for learning by relaxation, standard functions (sort, search, print), and a very user-friendly MDI interface that makes data exchange across documents dead easy.
(--SCHOOLS--) VTrain is ready for operation over a local network, and it is free for schools and all other educational establishments.
